APPLICATION FOR RESTORING STUDY RIGHT

This form is used to apply for restoring of study right when the student has failed to enroll for the study year as attending or non-attending and the study right has ended. The study right can be restored if the student has study time left.

The study right will be restored on the beginning of the following month after the decision (at the latest). The on-going term, including the time before the restoration, will be considered completely used of the study right duration. The right to study is not restored retroactively.

The semesters that the student has neglected to enroll for consume their terms of non-attendance and attendance. Semesters between the study right end date and the study right restoration date are covered with non-attending terms if the student is still eligible for absence. When the maximum amount of non-attendance terms has been used, remaining semesters are counted as attending, which reduces the remaining study time and attendance terms.

50 Euros will be charged for processing the application (Government Decree 1440/2014). The processing fee is non-refundable, even if the application is not accepted.

Options for payment of the application processing fee (50 Euros) are the following:
* Bank transfer to Centria UAS bank account (IBAN: FI92 5162 0020 2748 85). Use your surname and the name of your degree programme as reference.
* Card payment at the library on Talonpojankatu Campus. Give your name and the name of your degree programme when making the payment.

Proof of payment must be attached to the application. The application and the proof of payment attachment are submitted at the same time so please have the attachment ready in electronic form before filling in the application.

STUDENTS REQUIRED TO PAY TUITION FEE: Tuition-fee-paying students must make the payment for the semester they are enrolling for in advance. The application will not be processed before the tuition fee has been paid. Centria UAS uses Flywire to accept payments from international students worldwide. Please, use this link to pay: https://centria.flywire.com/. The amount for one semester (half of full year’s fee) is the same you have paid for your earlier study semesters.
